About counterfeit IC cards
Counterfeiting techniques have become very sophisticated, and the number of cases (especially for residence cards) is increasing every year. However, they are mostly taking advantage of the "visual check" that is done in normal business operations in Japan, and although the sophistication of the printing technology is remarkable, they have not yet taken the trouble to check the IC chip. This is where the CWORK® application comes in.
